We, LG Electronics Development Vietnam (LGEDV), conduct core R&D activities, and various product reliability tests to support our vehicle component business.

As Software Safety Engineer of LGEDV Da Nang Office, you will be responsible for ensuring that products meet the highest safety standards by developing functional safety work products and requirements related to the automotive domain

• Ensure functional safety features are defined fully and give clear documents for implementation.

• Ensure software development on time and ensure product quality

• Handle technical problems, and report progress, and work results to management levels.

Qualifications:

• Background in IT, Science, Engineering or related fields.

• 1+ years of work experience with programming languages such as C, C++.

• 1+ years of industry experience in embedded software, especially in the automotive domain

• Fluent in English speaking, reading, and writing to be involved in technical discussions with the development team, HQ, and OEMs.

• Self-research skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Good understanding of functional safety software process, especially ISO26262 part-4, 6.

• Knowledge of Software Architecture and design tools and languages (UML)

• Experience in functional safety software in the Automotive Domain:

o Safety software architecture specification

o Safety Requirements definition

o Safety Software development

• Experience in Safety Analysis (FMEA, DFA).

• Have functional-related certifications

• Experience in supporting customers/OEMs with functional safety and system safety concepts

• Experience in functional safety audits
