Sourcing Officer

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

Assist development and execution of sourcing plans within End Market for all indirect spend categories across functions in locally.

Execute compliance of all procurement activities adhere with global policies, standards, and platforms to deliver robust terms and conditions that manage BAT’s service delivery and commercial risk. Continuous improvement of procurement process effectively and efficiently.

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

Business

• Support & contribute to deliver the Co-Plan Savings Target, to achieve the Indirect Savings.

• Support Group Transformation & Accelerate the Growth Agenda

o Support Portfolio and Marketing activities

o Continue & Deliver the WMS localization journey

o Support the Quality Improvement for key WMS suppliers.

• Ensure effective Risk Management Exists

o Deliver a step change in Procurement controls and teams integrity

o Support compliance to Sanctions & ABAC

o SOBC / SoX Compliance

o Ensuring the “Deliver with Integrity” agenda to achieve a step change in controls & compliance

o Support Effectiveness WMS Contingency Plan

• Assist to conduct Supplier Performance Review for key suppliers.

• Support Direct Procurement Manager to gather data and information when necessary and required.

• Facilitate negotiations for local manage suppliers within scope to ensure business continuity supply.

• Maintain active suppliers information are valid in the system.

• Provide Spend Analysis in monthly basis.

• Validation of all the data requires related vendor registration in the system.

• Able to work independently and as a team also under pressure or heavy workload.

• Familiar with Microsoft office (Ms. Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and relevant software application.

• Diploma/ Degree in Economics, Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or any related field.

• Experience: at least 1 years in sourcing of Indirect Procurement

• Must possess good written and verbal communication skill and in English.

• Exemplifying a strong attention to detail, good data management, analytical & structural thinking skills

• Self-starter, proactive manner & can-do attitude
