ABOUT THE POSITION:

Essential functions and key responsibilities are:

● Sourcing and maintaining long-lasting relationships with new suppliers as well as existing suppliers.

● Participates in sourcing data analysis, forecasting, and planning.

● Submit a request for Quote (RFQ) to vendors including parts and mold, negotiating price, quantity, payment terms and delivery schedules with suppliers.

● Generating quote comparisons and advising the sourcing manager on which suppliers to cooperate with based on that quote comparisons.

● Negotiating contract terms with suppliers.

● Monitor, check, confirm the price fluctuations of Suppliers.

● Constantly trying to find opportunities to cost down as well as build a quality, potential and economical sourcing system.

● Collaborate with relevant departments (QC/ R&D/ PE/ PUR) to make the plan and evaluate the performance of current suppliers and identify areas for improvement.

● Make a reciprocal plan to improve or develop the new suppliers to replace the unsatisfactory assessment.

● Make the detailed plan and track development progress and summarize the project reports for the manager.

● Tracking technical notice, and drawing information updates from R&D and Technical Team.

● Receive information about design changes to send to suppliers and confirm the necessary quotation and mold repair time. Coordinate with related departments to ensure improved goods are on schedule and do not affect production

● Perform other duties as manager assigned.

● Can travel for business when required

● Experience in project management, product development process.

● Having technical knowledge is an advantage.

● Proficient in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Power Point).

● Good communication in English or Chinese.

Education and Certifications:

● Bachelors’ degree required.
