SQE

Main function is SQE, support sourcing partially.

1. SQE:

Responsible for ensuring product quality from suppliers through evaluation, control, and continuous improvement.

Coordinate issue resolution, monitor performance, and drive suppliers to comply with quality standards.Advanced Supplier Quality (ASQ) and Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE):

ASQ – the role of an ASQ Engineer is to manage the execution of the Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) process and its completion in due time

SQE – the role of a Plant SQE is to manage the Quality Improvement of purchased parts during Serial Life in partnership with DCP plant Buyer and the Day-to-day Supplier Relationship. As part of the missions and objectives of the FMS Purchasing & Quality Departments, the SQE is responsible of claims management, requalification of parts, escalation process level 1 & 2, supplier ECRs in serial life. He ensures the management of quality crisis until the closure of the PDCA, 8D report and the treatment of Root causes.

2. Be the main actor of the supplier selection from sourcing to mass production phase:

Source local Vietnamese and international suppliers for automotive raw material, components.

Develop suppliers to reach price attractivity and OEM level of specification in a strong collaboration with worldwide R&D and Project management teams to enhance current panel.

Complete vendor selection process in compliance with group standards for tender, contract, and validation stages.

Reach SOP stage and transfer to procurement team mature suppliers for new project start or localization plans.

3. Manage changes with project management team:

Design & Price change.

Ensure a close follow-up of the market trends to anticipate price impact evolution and apply cost reduction policy to suppliers through productivity, annual rebate, material cost reduction, etc.

Ensure the application of purchasing system and compliance with IATF regulations.

SAFETY / ENVIRONMENT

• All meetings are starting with safety

• Ensure people know the 12 golden rules and respect them

• Ensure people have the obligation to STOP working if facing dangerous situation for themselves or other

• Ensure people are respecting PPE and safety cards on all machines or situation to avoid accident and dangerous situation

• Rise the awareness of any person in plant regarding safety as daily manager’s duty

• Stimulate package people and collect dangerous situation cards at least 3/people/year

• Apply for IMPROVEMENT TOOLS

• Prevent any environmental incident to happen, reduce environmental impact of our activities
