Station Manager Assistant

Then you are the Station Manager Assistant we are looking for! How does your job as Station Manager Assistant at Rijk Zwaan Vietnam look like? As Station Manager Assistant you are part of our Research & Development team, with specific responsibility for supporting the Station Manager to carry out the operation and management of all activities at our R&D Station in Don Duong, Lam Dong. You play an important role in supporting the Station Manager in coordinate/assign works for employees working at the Station, monitoring production activities and report to the Station Manager regularly to keep the workflow smooth and efficiently. This entails the following: • Making plans for managing operational activities at the R&D Station (production plan per crop for 5-year, events plan for VTO trial from sales team, worker plan, materials forecast, maintenance plan) • Coordinating and monitoring operational activities as well as manage worker, material supplier, … (Assign works and Coordinate workers within Station (together with Trial assistant) for activities such as fertilizer mix and apply, spraying, laydown stem, twist, harvesting, destroy, cleaning GH/field, substrate, seedling take care, …) • Discussing and reporting to Station Manager on regular basis (weekly) about crops status, materials, … • Supporting other colleagues with events organizing at the Station

*Your contribution: You are a strong communicator with a high degree of motivation and enthusiasm. As proactive collaborator you are resourceful, and you support the Station Manager in managing operational and management activities at our R&D Station. With your organizational, planning skills, you could contribute to make planning for production activities such as managing crops yearly, station maintenance, human resources management, supply chain management or events. Given the nature of this position, you are open to communicate with different stakeholders and you also speak English fluently. In addition, we can find the following on your resume: • A bachelor or an university degree in agriculture and some relevant work experiences in the horticulture industry. • At least 3 years of experience in agriculture, especially in mid tech/high tech is an advantage. • Good organizational skills. • Good analytical and interpersonal skills. • Preferably knowledge of and experience with operating in an international environment. • Be able to adjust and control Irrigation system in Greenhouse *What can you expect from us?
