Strategic Sourcing Manager

Job Summary

Our client, a reputable company in the Electronics & Technology manufacturing sector, is seeking a senior-level Strategic Sourcing Manager. This is a critical role requiring strong managerial capabilities to oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, supplier management, and procurement.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our complex, multi-stage manufacturing projects meet strict cost, quality, and delivery targets. We are looking for an independent, assertive leader who is fluent in English and capable of driving results under pressure while collaborating seamlessly with engineering, quality, and logistics teams.

Key Responsibilities

Sourcing Strategy & Supplier Management

• Develop and execute robust sourcing strategies to ensure a reliable supply of materials and services at optimal cost, quality, and lead time.

• Lead supplier qualification, onboarding, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Manage relationships with key suppliers, handling contract negotiations, performance monitoring, and issue resolution.

• Drive cost reduction, value engineering, and supplier development programs.

Supply Chain Operations & Planning

• Oversee inventory management, demand planning, and logistics to optimize working capital and minimize shortages or excess.

• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to align procurement activities with production schedules and project requirements.

• Analyze supply chain risks and implement mitigation plans to ensure business continuity.

Leadership & Compliance

• Prepare and present supply chain reports, KPIs, and financial recommendations to senior management.

• Ensure full compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

Experience & Education

• Minimum 7–10 years of hands-on experience in purchasing, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management.

• Strong preference for candidates with experience in Electronics, Semiconductors, or Electromechanical systems.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain or a related field.

• Professional certifications (CPSM, CSCP) and knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma/ISO standards are a strong plus.

Technical Skills

• Deep understanding of sourcing strategies, cost drivers, and global supply markets.

• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and supply chain analytics tools.

• Strong financial acumen regarding cost structures and budgeting.
