Structural Engineer (Transportation Infrastructure)

Take on a role in leading international projects for the development of transport infrastructure such as bridges and tunnels Collaborate almost daily with other Haskoning offices and teams in other countries. What will you do

You will join our team working on large international tunnel and infrastructure projects. Samples of projects you may contribute to:

- New underground ring road of Antwerp: A major infrastructure project in Western Europe.

- Blankenburg connection: Another significant project aimed at improving connectivity.

- Fehmarnbelt tunnel in Denmark: One of the longest immersed tunnels in the world.

These projects aim to improve the living environment and present plenty of interesting and challenging issues to solve.

Your daily responsibilities include:

- Contributing to the development and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects

- Solving complex engineering problems both independently and within a team

- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success

What you bring

You are a true team player. Collaborating with various professionals inside and outside your team is key to successful solutions for complex issues. You can also listen well, give and receive constructive feedback, and communicate clearly both orally and in writing. Furthermore:

- A university degree in civil engineering in a relevant field of study

- At least five years of experience as an (underground) construction engineer and an affinity with geotechnics

- Proficiency in both English and Vietnamese for effective communication

- Proficiency in computer analysis and design software i.e. SAP2000, STAAD Pro

- Experienced in structural analysis and design of large civil structures (such as bridges or tunnels)

- Experienced in structural design according to International design standards

- Good understanding of BIM/Revit working environment (should have been involved in numerous projects)

- Familiar with advanced analysis i.e. nonlinear or dynamic analysis will be beneficial.
