Structure Maintenance Engineer

1. Structure and Piping work (90%)

• Plan and implement structural repair, modification, fabrication, and installation works and piping system on the rigs.

• Cooperate with Marine team to ensure repair, fabrication, installation structural works and pipelines carried out in compliance with the regulatory process & norm of Class Societies.

• Provide support to technical evaluation during supplier and manufacturers selection in compliance with Class Societies.

• Directly participate in managing and supervising technical aspect of new built rig projects.

• Coordinate with other departments to operate the rigs efficiently.

• Keep abreast of technological and technical advancements related to instructional information and maintenance to expand the life-cycle of equipment through affiliation with professional societies and participation in networks, workshops and courses, internet, etc.

• Provide advice to the management on the solutions of technical improvements to improve the operational efficiency of equipment.

• Coordinate with other teams of ME&M to carry out work within the department and others.

2. General Management (10%)

• Assist Deputy Structural Manager in supplying information for maintenance & repair budget.

• Meet the training requirements as per the applicable training matrix.

• Mentor, develop, and train electrical team members to ensure they are competent to work at their next job level.

• Perform other tasks as assigned by Superior

• Bachelor’s Degree in Structure and Piping or Mechanical Engineering and related

• Have at least 1 years of experience, open for freshers

• Skilled in using software such as Autocad, Tekla, Revit, AutoCAD Plant 3D, ETABS, Word, Excel, Microsoft Project, and structural calculation software SAP2000

• Work independently, knowing how to plan surveys, dissect materials, evaluate techniques during procurement, plan implementation, and supervise on-site.

• Knowledge of all technical calculations required for the safe operation of the drilling unit and computer skills

• Have a high sense of responsibility and good health

• English proficiency (four skills)

• Advanced communication skills

• Able to recognize, analyze, and solve problems across projects and in complex situations.
