Studio Operation Leader

Reporting to the Livestream Manager, the Studio Operation Lead will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of studio operations, ensuring smooth and efficient livestream productions. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional livestream experiences.

In the Studio Operation Lead role, the candidate will be responsible for:

• Manage day-to-day studio operations, including scheduling, equipment maintenance, and resource allocation.

• Lead a team of studio technicians and operators, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality livestream productions.

• Collaborate with producers, livestreamers, and other stakeholders to plan and execute livestream events, ensuring all technical requirements are met.

• Stay up-to-date on the latest livestreaming technologies and trends, implementing innovative solutions to enhance the studio's capabilities.

• Troubleshoot technical issues as they arise during livestream productions, implementing quick and effective solutions to minimize downtime.

• Maintain a safe and organized studio environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols.

To succeed in the role, an ideal candidate should ideally meet the following criteria:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.

• Proven experience in livestream operations, with a strong understanding of streaming protocols, encoding, and delivery methods.

• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to think quickly and make sound decisions under pressure.

• Proficiency with livestreaming software and equipment, including cameras, switchers, encoders, and streaming platforms.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate livestream production schedules.
