Supplier Development Specialist

Purpose:

Focus on supplier capability development and performance management. Provide on the ground support for DFC supply chain development in Vietnam, also conduct source inspection.

Responsibilities:

1. Support suppliers’ capability development & managing suppliers' performance

- Perform process capability assessments and improvement activities to effectively resolve gaps and full-fill Delta business requirement, including quality management system/manufacturing process /finishing validation /testing qualification.

- Report, monitor and work with suppliers execute the actions plan and Trouble shooting with suppliers.

2. Sustain supplier’s process / system standard to meet Delta’s requirement. (QMS/manufacturing/finishing/testing)

- Execute regular audit at suppliers in term of lab testing operations and manufacturing process.

- Results reporting, manage progress and verify the corrective actions with suppliers if needed.

3. Support local source inspection

- Proceed source inspection on site per our standard process before shipment.

- Manage documents of the inspection reports and report testing results to LM

4. Work with ASCM and DUS team, provide on the ground engineering/quality supports.

- Coordinate with ASCM / DUS project team on the project execution/progress tracking/problem solving when required.

Key Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree or above, major in Engineering

- 5+ years’ experience in Quality assurance or Engineering role, including 3+ years’ experience of Quality assurance or engineering role in international manufacturing environment.

- Supplier Quality management knowledge is needed.

- Familiar with quality management tools (QC 7 tools and 8D).

- Good command in language of English and Vietnamese, Mandarin is preferred. Be able to communicate with oversea colleagues by conference call freely and smoothly.

- Good PC skills, Microsoft Office is required (Word, Excel, Power point).

- SAP skills preferred.

- Detail, result oriented, independent.

- Strong sense of ownership and responsibility.
