We are seeking Supplier Development Staff / Senior Supplier Development Staff to support supplier capability, performance, and improvement programs.

I. Main Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Supplier Performance Monitoring

• Monitor supplier KPIs (OTD, NCR, PPM, cost trends) and maintain scorecards.

• Conduct supplier audits/reviews and follow up corrective and preventive actions.

• Senior: Lead quarterly reviews and drive improvement plans.

2. Supplier Capability & Process Improvement

• Support supplier capability checks (capacity, process stability, technology readiness).

• Assist with process improvement activities (5Why, fishbone, lean basics).

• Follow up supplier readiness for customer-specific requirements.

• Senior Level: Lead capability assessments and improvement roadmaps.

3. Supplier Relationship Management

• Maintain day-to-day communication with suppliers for ongoing programs.

• Coordinate issue resolution, follow-up items, and delivery commitments.

• Senior Level: Manage key suppliers and lead business review meetings.

4. Cost & Contract Support

• Support data collection for cost analysis (lead-time trends, pricing patterns, volume).

• Assist in preparing cost-improvement proposals and savings reports.

• Senior Level: Support contract review and lead suppliers discussions improvements.

5. Compliance with Supplier-Related Policies

• Ensure suppliers comply with Nikkiso quality, delivery, and documentation standards.

• Follow internal procedures for audits, monitoring, and reporting.

• Support compliance with ethical sourcing and communication protocols.

• Maintain documentation for internal and external audits.

• Senior level: Act as policy focal point across departments.

6. Cross-Functional Support.

• Work with Production Control, QC/QA, Engineering, and HQ teams on supplier issues, delays, NPIs, and audits.

• Support Purchasing in supplier selection, evaluation, and development activities.

• Provide performance data for internal meetings and audits.

• Coordinate with Finance/Accounting on supplier-related claims or issues.

• Join internal / customer audits as Supplier Development representative when required.

• Senior level: Act as subject-matter expert & guide junior staff

Job Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Economics, Business, or related fields.

Language: Excellent command of English (written and spoken).

Experience:

• SD Staff: 0–3 years in supply chain, QC, production, or purchasing.

• Senior SD: 5+ years in supplier management, QC/QA, sourcing, or process improvement.

Skills:

• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

• Good understanding of quality/performance metrics (OTD, PPM, NCR).

• Basic knowledge of audits, root cause analysis, and lean tools.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle or equivalent).

• Senior level: Able to lead meetings, guide suppliers, and manage improvement projects.

• Senior level: Proactive, strategic mindset, and supplier-facing confidence.
