Supplier Quality Engineer

Main Tasks & Responsibilities /

• Leading SQE team to achieving a state of high quality performance at our supplier partners through the application and practice of product quality planning during NPI process and after mass production;

• Quality engineering capability assessments of potential new suppliers;

• Driving problem solving activities for the issues captured from production ;

• Monitor supplier quality performance for ETG SUZ and driving for containment and corrective actions if the performance is out of tracking;

• Driving supplier performance development activities;

• Ensure critical to quality characteristics are flown down by suppliers;

• Proactive quality control at supplier side and improve the IQC inspection team WoW so we can lower down working load from ETG internally;

• Driving Free inspection process IQC.

*** REQUIREMENT"

Education:

B.S. in Engineering or above.

Technical Profile:

• >5 years of proven design supplier quality engineering experience;

• Knowledge of ISO9001/14001;

• Experience in support global projects;

• Experience with quality tools( SPC,MSA, acceptance sampling, FMEA,PPAP etc.)

• Demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills;

• Knowledge of manufacturing quality system and working in regulated industry ;

• Experience on supplier quality management measurement practice;

• Experience on surface treatment process is preferred;

• Experience with geometric dimensioning and tolerance ;

• Working knowledge of Microsoft software.

Critical Competences:

Strong communication and leadership skill, able to communicate issues between internal organizations and external , able to consolidate the FACTS and lead on problem solving practice.

Communication Profile:

Strong English Written and verbal communication skills.

Managerial Profile:

- Monitor the quality of suppliers and promote continuous improvement of suppliers.

- Coordinate the exchange of internal and external quality information, and coach suppliers to carry out standardized production.

Computer Literate:

- Be proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
