Supplier Quality Engineer (Hải Phòng, Quảng Ninh) - Working with Global Team - Lương Upto $1400

Position Objective:

• Under the direction of Segment Supplier Quality Section Manager

• Follow Autoliv policies and procedures.

• Ensure local Vietnam supplier development new components or project conforming to specification.

Position Scope

Under the direction of Plant Supplier Quality Manager, the Supplier Quality Engineer will take necessary steps with Autoliv policies and procedures, to ensure adequate quality of parts/materials are available to meet inspection and testing component part based on drawing specification.

Tasks/ Responsibilities: (Main Activities)

• Reference to Autoliv Quality Organization Role & Responsibilities global standard. As Project SQ role & main task (External Supplier).

• Support assignment task as Segment Supplier Quality in local Vietnam supplier under supervise by Segment Supplier Quality Section Manager

• Actively involved in new component sourcing and development process

• Involved in the TFC and CTS process with Purchasing, Engineering and Suppliers.

• Involved in CLD definition together with Project Buyer and Engineering.

• Involved in contract review with Project Purchasing.

• Owner of SQP (APQP)

• Define the SQP tasks with the suppliers.

• Follow up completion of SQP tasks in terms of timing and quality for defined deliverables.

• Participate in supplier production trial runs and Run at Rate per CLD.

• Perform audits and PFMEA go and see as applicable for new projects.

• Responsibilty to create ALISQI (eDAR) and implementation of ALVS412

• Owner of the PPAP approval. (Ref. AS007, AS404 and AS100)

• Escalate SQP delays / deviations according to AS404

• Actively connected with APDS project teams with Project Purchasing and AS007 project teams with Serial Purchasing.

• Involved in Pre-APDS projects through Purchasing.

• Owner of SQP / PPAP for serial changes and replacement tools ensuring one PPAP is valid for all Autoliv plants.

• Support other divisions in terms of supplier onsite project activities when requested.

• AS051 rating for SQP and RESP performance.

• Involved with NCMs for new project.

• Keep SQP information updated on Visual board and PLM system.

Key Challenges

• Lead external suppliers towarde zero defect.

• Deliver Quality assured components according to project time schedule.

• Monitoring component quality problem and supplier improvement.

Key Relationships(Internal & External)

• Collaborate with Project Buyer , Design Authority and Project Team Leader

• Coaching and coordinate skill, ability to lead/supervise external suppliers

• Good coordination / Good follow up to check effective counter measure.

• AS 100 project members

• AS 007 Project Members.

• Suppliers and Customers..

Key Selection Criteria / Education and Experienxe Requirements:

• To have completed bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in engineering/science or other suitable qualifications with at least 5 years experience in APQP and PPAP within Automotive business environment.

• Background knowledge with Industrial Engineer or Manufacturing Process Engineer

• Proficiency in English skills is required, as you will be working with a global team
