Supply Planning Executive

1. Analyze and evaluate the supply plan to satisfy customer needs taking into account the supply constraint factors (such as line capacity, water supply, packaging material supply, labor and resources, seasonal container congestion, force majors,…)

2. Finished goods (FG) Production Planning

• Balance the need for product availability versus the need to minimize costs of inventory to ensure optimum stocks at the right location

• Create a feasible monthly/weekly/daily production plans for the factories/outsources under responsibility taking into account production constraints and relevant lead time

3. Inventory raw packing materials (RPM) Management and supplier assessment:

• Balance the need for finished goods availability versus the need to minimize costs of inventory of raw packaging materials to ensure optimum RPM inventory at the right time and location

• Place and follow PR/PO for RPM until the delivery is completed

• Manage international and local suppliers to ensure the supply versus demand taking into account the warehouse constraint

• Assess suppliers and provide feedback to Procurement

• Control and minimize RPM write-off cost

4. Custody Supply for Production Management:

• Balance the need for finished goods availability versus the need of custody to ensure optimum custody inventory at the right time and location

• Balance custody return daily and receiving plan versus the production plan taking into account the constraint of warehouse

• Follow the new investment plan from Demand Planning Executive and feedback if any adjustment by site needed

5. Risk analysis, proactive/ effective co-ordination and communication supply issues to relevant parties

• Identify potential supply issues and possible opportunities concerning major events e.g. factory shutdowns, timing of promotion activities, transition of old/new products and etc…

• Alert/ Highlight all supply issues

• Analyze and highlight with data and fact base

• Proactively and effectively communicate to relevant parties

• Detail impacts of proposed actions and related trade offs

• Ensure actions and Supply plans are realistic and achievable in accordance with Business Planning Process

6. Give advance information on Production requirements for short to medium term to Production Department for labor planning

7. Be effective member in New Product Development Process, ensure all planning activities along the process are meet target timeline and support product launch

8. Engage in Continuous Excellence projects

• Analyze relevant supply parameters and seek for improvements on regular basis to manage lot sizes, cycle time, production frequency, frozen period, R&P inventory level etc, to drive optimum FG inventory level

• Engage in NCE activities to have continuous improvements

9. Other tasks assigned by Line Manager

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field

• 2–3 years of experience in FMCG, preferably in: Supply Planning, Factory/Production Planning, Demand Planning

• Experience in production planning, customer service, or procurement is a plus
