System & Security Engineer

1. ROLE OBJECTIVE:

Looking for a challenging but rewarding role in a growing international office? You will be

part of a professional team of engineers who provide IT services and ensure the highest

levels of availability, performance, and security. In place to assist and facilitate the

Company’s requirements, qualified systems & security engineers will have a background in IT,

computer systems engineering, or systems engineering and analysis, thereby ensuring

that the system will function efficiently and securely, as well as the satisfaction of our

customer.

2. OPERATIONAL:

• Take primary responsibility for vulnerability scanning, patching, and security hygiene of

IT systems for the Vietnam team.

• Perform regular Nessus vulnerability scans, analyze results, prioritize findings, and

coordinate remediation with internal teams.

• Track newly published CVE advisories, assess system exposure, and participate in

patch deployment planning.

• Execute Ivanti patch management, including updates for Windows OS, third-party

applications, and security patches.

• Perform MDS patching, ensuring compliance and timely rollout to servers and

endpoints.

• Netscaller ADC knowhow.

• Support system hardening activities and contribute to improving the organization’s

security posture.

• Assist in the installation, configuration, testing, and maintenance of operating systems

(Windows & Linux) and system tools.

• Support disaster recovery and backup processes aligned with security best practices.

• Configure access permissions and basic security settings for users, groups, and system

components.

• Maintain accurate documentation of vulnerabilities, patching activities, reports, and

system configurations.

• Monitor system performance and ensure availability through health checks and proactive

remediation.

• Provide Level-1/ Level-2 technical support related to security findings, system issues,

and patch deployment errors.

• Assist in preparing reports for compliance, audits, and management review.

• Collaborate with vendors and internal IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve security

patching issues.

• Help manage tickets related to vulnerability remediation, patching, and system

configuration.

• Participate in internal training, knowledge-sharing, and improvement of patching

workflows.

Education Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in computer networks and data communications, Information Technology, Computer Science.

• Fresh graduates specializing in System and Security are encouraged to join our team.<ins>

• Valid and up to date Microsoft, Citrix, VMware, RedHat or other certifications are a plus.

Technical Skills:

• Experience using Nessus for vulnerability scanning and exposure analysis.

• Understanding CVE scoring, prioritization, and vulnerability triage.

• Familiarity with Ivanti patch management or other patch automation tools.

• Basic knowledge of MDS patching and automated update distribution is a plus.

• Knowledge of Windows Server and Linux system administration fundamentals.

• Understanding network security, malware behavior, and system hardening.

• Basic experience with virtualization environments such as Open Nebula, KVM, and Kubernetes.

• Familiarity with scripting or automation tools (PowerShell, Bash is a plus).

• Knowledge of backup concepts and disaster recovery fundamentals.

• Good understanding of servers, networks, and endpoint systems.
