System Engineer (Senior) (Hybrid)

ABOUT THE POSITION:

You will be part of KII Solutions which hosts our development team in Vietnam. The successful candidate will integrate a fast-growing team and get direct to the technical challenges of international customers.

You will take part of important network implementation and be responsible for, and not limited to:

• Test, configure and install devices: router, firewall, switch, access point, server, PC…

• Follow up, manage project progress, and provide prompt action to ensure it matches the planned schedule and to meet customer demand.

• Provide day-to-day support to ensure the smooth running of the computers, network devices, printers as well as end users' requirements.

• Manage IT infrastructure, system monitoring and reports.

• Interacting with our international clients

• Scheduled maintenance and patching of Infrastructure environments as necessary.

• Taking initiatives to build internal tools.

• Creating and performing authorized changes to customer environments.

• Managing incidents and problems appropriately within agreed service levels.

OBJECTIVES OF THIS ROLE:

As a System Engineer at K2 Solutions, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, efficiency, and security of our client’s IT system infrastructure. You will work closely with a dynamic team of IT professionals to deliver high-quality managed services to our diverse client base. The role involves designing and deploying systems, implementing solutions, monitoring and maintenance, and ensuring the security and reliability of our client’s IT system.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Test, configure and install devices and setup cloud service: Server, SQL, Microsoft Exchange, Domain Controller, Veeam, VMware, Azure Migration, Azure Storage, Azure AVD, Office 365

• Follow up, manage project progress, and provide prompt action to ensure it matches the planned schedule and to meet customer demand.

• Manage IT infrastructure, system monitoring and reports.

• Scheduled maintenance and patching of IT infrastructure environments, as necessary.

Troubleshooting and Support:

• Provide timely and effective resolution of system-related issues.

• Collaborate with other IT professionals to troubleshoot complex problems.

Documentation:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.

• Create and update diagrams to assist in troubleshooting and planning.

Client Communication:

• Work closely with clients to understand their system requirements and provide effective communication on project status and issue resolution.

• Collaborate with client stakeholders to identify opportunities for system improvement.

Collaboration with Team:

• Collaborate with other departments, including network/security experts, and support staff, to deliver comprehensive solutions.

• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall success of the organization.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

• Proven experience (3-5 years) as a System Engineer in NOC / IT infrastructure management / User Support or similar.

• MSP experience.

• Knowledge of Active Directory, SQL, Exchange Server, VMware, vCenter, Redhat, Duo, Azure MFA, Microsoft Azure, Office 365, Windows10.

• Knowledge of computer operations and standard software packages (word processing, spreadsheets, Adobe) required.

• High English language ability.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
