Tax & Accounting, Senior Executive

Job Purpose Summary:

• This position is responsible for Tax, Fixed Asset Management, Payments and Booking transactions, Transactions Reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Functional (job responsibilities)

** Tax Declaration and Reporting

• Prepare Tax declaration including VAT, FCT, CIT.

• Consult the tax relating matters basing on tax regulations and industry practices to management.

• Co-coordinate with Tax Inspectors for any tax issues.

• Ensure that the Bank complies with all regulatory relating to tax and statutory reporting, i.e: daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting requirements.

• Ensure all reports are accurate, produced within prescribed timelines and that zero penalty charges by tax and/or central bank regulators are incurred.

• Maintain & enhance the Bank’s relationship with Tax Office for both financial and compliance issues and provide ongoing insight into proposed tax and regulatory amendments.

• Coordinate with tax consultancy, external auditors & counterparties if any.

**E-invoice system

• Manage the e-Invoice system to issue e-Invoice for customers.

• Work with the vendor to solve the issues relating to the e-invoice system.

• Train the system users in branches or other departments if any.

**Payments and Booking transactions & transactions Reconciliation

• Payable management: to support monitoring payable accounts and process payment of branches.

• GL: booking transactions in GL system.

• In charge of Nostro reconciliation and other GL accounts assigned by Line Manager.

• In charge of organizing the fixed asset physical count.

**Others

• Be able to develop, implement automation solutions or enhance the procedures to reduce manual process/workload of daily tasks and reporting.

Any other duties as assigned by Finance Manager/Head of Finance.

Education/Qualification

• University degree and/or professional qualification in Accounting or Finance.

• Completion of advanced finance / management courses would be an advantage.

• Certificates of tax courses would be an advantage.

Experience

• Experience in accounting / financial reporting (3years +).

• Experience in tax reporting (3years +).

• Experience in regional working environment.

• Good in English.

• Banking experience is a plus.

Managerial (team/group responsibilities)

• Good knowledge of tax & accounting matters;

• Sound knowledge of Vietnam financial/ banking regulatory requirements and financial/ banking products;

• Good experiences of tax plans & solutions;

• Strong computer skills;

• Independent workability;

• Strong ability of teamwork.

Organizational (organizational responsibilities)

• Good experience of team management (1-2 people).
