Tax & Customs Accountant

MISSION AND ROLE:

The Tax & Customs Accountant position plays the critical role to support Chief Accountant (CA), and other departments to manage Authority report (Tax, Customs, Investment, Statistics), company tax position, and related accounting tasks to ensure the company’s positive position in front Authorities, especially Tax & Customs position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1) Support CA to declare VAT (Monthly) & CIT (Yearly).

2) Support CA in quarterly tax refund

3) Checking imported/exported goods and do the finalization reports on imported & exported goods.

4) Working closely with SC team to ensure the declaration on imported/ exported goods are always correct.

5) In charge of other authority reports: investment evaluation and statistics reports, as per laws and regulation.

6) All other reasonable duties as requested by CA.

Background / Skills

• Major in Accounting and Tax; experiences either in Taxation, customs

Professional Experiences

1. Having experiences in Accounting, tax and Customs fields.

2. Require high accuracy, much attention to detail, with the ability to work quickly to meet deadline.

3. Good comprehensive reading skill.

4. Good communication.

5. Good in logic thinking and interested in learning new skill.

Qualification

• B.A, major in accounting and financing; customs + tax declaration certificates

Languages

• Fluently in English & native Vietnamese

Competency level

• Corporate finance & accounting (full portions)

• Negotiation, ability to build rapports, problem solving, well organization, self-motivation

Knowledge

• Excel skills, Reporting & Model building

• Hands-on, Detail & reconciliation orientation
