Tax Manager

Oversee all tax matters related to 2 companies in Vietnam. This position will play a crucial role in ensuring that the company operates within the tax framework and complies with all regulations and requirements.

1. Tax Compliance

-Oversee and ensure Tax (CIT/VAT/FCT/PIT etc.), VAT refund, transfer pricing, restructuring matters across all entities and locations of the Business in Vietnam.

- Keep abreast of changes in regulations that may impact the company's operations.

- Analyze and recommend efficient methods to optimize the companys tax strategy.

- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local and national regulations.

- Advise accounting team and other teams about tax-related matters

- Follow up to solve tax issues

2. Internal control

- Develop and maintain effective internal controls to ensure accurate and timely filing of taxes.

- Monitor and report on the performance of the tax functions and develop plans for improvement.

- Ensure accounting data for tax preparation is kept updated timely and accurately

- To be in charge of tax accounting policies, and standard operational procedures of the tax team to operate smoothly and properly

3. Government Relations

- Establish and maintain positive relationships with tax government authorities and regulatory bodies.

- Act as the primary point of contact for tax matters when dealing with external stakeholders.

4. Others

- Prepare reports as required

- Other tasks as assigned

Working location:

- Based in Hanoi. Limited travel to Hung Yen

- 5-8 years or longer of tax experience, thorough understanding of tax laws and regulations

- Working experience in Big 4 or global/foreign companies. Prior experience with manufacturing enterprise is preferred

- CPA/ACCA certificate is a plus not a must

- Be active and energized in a multi-tasking and dynamic environment

- Work well under pressure and when challenged on multiple projects

- Enthusiastic, careful, hardworking and able to work overtime

- Lead team and other department

- Analytical, meticulous and good problem-solver;

- Able to work independently and in a team;

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office;

- Fluent oral and written English communication skills

- Having a strong logical thinking, analytical and problem solving skills
