Recruitment and Onboarding:
• Forecast Teaching Assistant (TA) staffing needs and oversee the recruitment and onboarding of Teaching Assistant Supervisors (TASs) and Teaching Assistant (TAs) for all centres.
• Conduct interviews, selection, and induction of new TASs and TAs.
Performance and Operations Management:
• Develop performance criteria for TASs and TAs.
• Conduct regular meetings, assessments, and appraisals for TASs, and support them in managing TA performance.
• Ensure TASs and TAs complete all administrative tasks, including training, meetings, contracts, and exit processes.
• Plan and implement reward and recognition programs.
• Maintain the TA Handbook and TA Code of Conduct.
• Assist with disciplinary processes when required.
Training and Development:
• Identify skill gaps and deliver training workshops for TASs and TAs.
• Ensure TASs are trained to conduct observations, assessments, appraisals, and disciplinary procedures.
• Develop and implement TAS/TA development plans.
• Lead improvement projects and succession planning.
Teaching and Learning:
• Set criteria for TA classroom observations and performance feedback.
• Observe TA performance to provide feedback and uphold teaching standards.
• Mentor TASs in best practices and student outcome optimization.
• Develop and update academic resources for TASs and TAs.
• Ensure constructive feedback is provided to TASs, TAs, and students.
Reporting and Administration:
• Submit regular reports and maintain up-to-date administrative records.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and address areas for improvement.
Customer Care and Welfare:
• Monitor TA/TAS responses to customer feedback and complaints.
• Support TASs in organising social activities and centre events.
• Ensure the welfare of TASs, TAs, and students through adherence to safeguarding policies.
Pastoral Responsibilities:
• Support TASs in ensuring a professional, safe, and positive learning environment for TAs and students.
• Adhere to the TA Handbook and relevant documentation.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
• Student outcomes, customer satisfaction, and re-enrollment rates.
• Completion of TAS/TA tasks and professional development.
• TA team retention.
Yêu cầu công việc
• University degree with a major conducted in English.
• Certificate in Teaching English (120+ hours of study).
• IELTS 7.5 or higher.
• 3 years of teaching or TA experience. Candidates with relevant experience may be considered at the discretion of the hiring manager.
• Management experience is preferred, though exceptions may be made based on qualifications and experience.
