Team Leader Customs / Trưởng Nhóm Xuất Nhập Khẩu

Damen Song Cam Shipyard is a production facility delivering various Damen ship types. Basic designs and main components are delivered to DSCS by Damen Shipyards Gorinchem. DSCS will provide the detailed engineering and information for the DSCS supply chain and production

Customs team leader is responsible for leading the customs team to achieve target of the team in import and export activities in DSCS. This position is fully responsible for import–export, customs, and bonded warehouse operations, playing a key role in ensuring legal compliance, cost optimization, and supply chain efficiency.

A. Strategy & Planning

- Develop import and export plans in alignment with the Company’s strategy and portfolio planning

- Build and manage the departmental budget

- Prepare customs reports and periodic customs finalization/settlement

B. Customs & Import–Export Operations

- Handle customs declarations, HS code classification, and documentation for all customs regimes

- Manage bonded warehouse operations, transportation, and shipping documents

- Apply for required permits, licenses, and relevant certifications

C. System & Process Improvement

- Operate and continuously improve the SAP Customs module

- Standardize import–export procedures in coordination with HSEQ and Supply Chain teams

D. People & Performance Management

- Manage the customs/import–export team

- Evaluate performance and allocate work effectively

E. Stakeholder Management

- Act as the key liaison with Customs authorities, Logistics, and Finance departments

- Advise and support Management on import–export–related matters

Education: University Bachelor Degree

Language: Very good 4 skills English

Experience:

- About 5 year experience in import and export activities.

- Specific SAP S/4 HANA knowledge is a plus

- Accounting experience is a plus
