Technical Analyst

Department: Research

Report to: Head of Research

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for technical analysis regarding the stocks and market trends

• Screen, analyze and recommend investment ideas based on technical analysis

• Write market recap and commentary content in daily newsletters, weekly newsletters, monthly newsletters and other reports

• Support social media team to create related contents

• Participate in interviews, webinars and other advisory products using technical analysis

• Support Data Senior Analyst for assigned tasks

• Other tasks as assigned by the Head of Research.

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in finance, quantitative or programing

• CMT level 2 (or higher) certification is preferable

• Understanding Python and/or other programming languages for coding signals is preferable

• At least one year of experience as technical analyst, preferably in Vietnam’s equity market or another emerging market

• Professional writing skill, fluent presentation and public speaking skills in Vietnamese

• Good communication skill in English

• High integrity, professionalism and well organized

• Flexible and able to work under intense pressure is a must

• Willing and able to travel whenever required.
