Key Responsibilities
1. Market Penetration & Customer Acquisition
• Identify and Develop Customers:
o Identify and develop direct local customers within the Vietnamese wood coatings industry for our solvent products (PMA, Xylene, Toluene, and Thinner).
o Conduct comprehensive market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and emerging trends to tailor our offerings accordingly.
• Sales Strategy Development:
o Formulate and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
o Monitor and analyze sales performance, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet business objectives.
2. Technical Support & Product Development
• Provide Technical Assistance:
o Offer technical support to local customers by harmonizing thinner formulations and optimizing product applications specific to wood coatings.
o Collaborate with our R&D team to develop customized solvent solutions that enhance product performance and meet local industry standards.
• Product Optimization:
o Continuously evaluate and improve solvent formulations to ensure they meet the highest quality and performance standards required by the Vietnamese market.
3. Relationship Management
• Build and Maintain Relationships:
o Establish and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including manufacturers, distributors, and end-users.
o Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty through consistent support and exceptional service.
4. Reporting & Analysis
• Prepare Detailed Reports:
o Prepare comprehensive weekly customer visit reports, encompassing insights on the business pipeline, market intelligence, competitor activities, and local market trends.
• Market Analysis:
o Analyze market opportunities, risks, and competitor strategies to provide actionable recommendations for business growth.
o Utilize data-driven insights to inform strategic decision-making and optimize market entry efforts.
5. Strategic Collaboration
• Internal Team Coordination:
o Work closely with internal teams (sales, marketing, R&D) to align product offerings and services with customer needs and market demands.
o Participate in strategic planning sessions to shape the direction of our market entry and expansion efforts in Vietnam.
Yêu cầu công việc
Professional Experience
• Minimum of 8 years of proven experience in solvent distribution and thinner formulation, particularly within the wood coatings industry.
• Demonstrated success in business development and customer management in Vietnam.
Technical Expertise
• Strong technical knowledge of solvent products and their applications in wood coatings.
• Ability to develop and optimize thinner formulations to meet specific industry requirements.
Language Proficiency
• Fluent in Vietnamese, Mandarin, and English to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.
Other Requirements
• Willingness to be based in Ho Chi Minh City/Hanoi, Vietnam, and travel as necessary within the region.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high degree of autonomy.
