Technical Designer (TD)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Technical Designer (TD) with a strong background in dressmaking and garment construction to join our dynamic fashion production team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, has a solid understanding of technical specifications in apparel manufacturing, and works well in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate closely with the design and production teams to ensure technical accuracy of samples and production garments, especially dresses.

Develop and review tech packs with measurement specs.

Measure, fit, and make necessary adjustments to samples based on fitting sessions and feedback

Communicate technical details clearly with factories/suppliers, both locally and overseas.

Use Microsoft Excel and Word proficiently for documentation, spec sheets, and reporting.

- 3+ years of experience in technical design or garment production, preferably in women's dresses.

- Strong understanding of sewing construction, fit, and garment measurements.

- Ability to read and understand paper patterns and grading is a strong advantage.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.

- Confident in communication with internal and external teams.

- Good English (spoken and written) is required to work with international partners.

- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet tight deadlines.

Knowledge of garment manufacturing processes and quality standards.
