Technical Service Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Reports to LV Product Marketing Manager

• Analyse customers existing product (e.g MCB, Contactor, Relays, MCCB, ACB, VFD & etc.) problems.

• Ability to understand and interpret technical manuals, schematics, blueprints, and electrical diagrams. This skill helps in troubleshooting, installation, and maintenance tasks

• Responsible to provide technical expertise to customers such as on-site product debugging, repair and replace according to warranty policies

• Provide reliability data on activities and equipments related to the performant of our product to reduce any return goods

• Providing excellent customer service is important as you may interact directly with clients or end-users. Being patient, responsive, and addressing customer concerns professionally is essential for client satisfaction

• Provide technical suggestions to identify product selection based on customers need

• Support tendering projects from technical aspect to local sales team as well as customers

• Create targeted training for partners and distributor to deepen product knowledge and streamline warranty processes. Deliver interactive workshops, online courses, and tailored certifications. Evaluate participant progress to ensure consistent expertise across diverse teams

• Track record of related evidence, feedback one-hand information to Technical Service Department

• Review warranty claims on faulty spare parts and maintain service spare parts inventory level

• Submit monthly product quality issues and technical documents related to activity records, submit monthly product quality issues reports or related information to the manager.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering or related field

• At least 3 years of work experience in electrical products with hands on technical knowledge (e.g low-voltage electrical products)

• Effective communication skills and customer oriented

• Technical Skills:

o Possessing a strong foundation in electrical engineering principles, theories, and practices is crucial. You should have a deep understanding of electrical circuits, systems, and equipment.

o Proficiency in conducting preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment. This involves routine inspections, testing, calibration, and ensuring optimal performance and safety.

• Competence in using various electrical testing and measuring instruments such as multimeters, clamp meters, insulation resistance testers and other related equipment. You should be knowledgeable in interpreting readings and analyzing data.

• Excellent English skills, proficient in application of OFFICE software and tools

• Familiar with local laws and regulations related to electrical product quality.
