Technical Solution Development Executive

1. Product / Systems Technical Competency

• Define SGVN local product offerings: Fiber Cement, Gypsum Board and Metal Frame (FGM) within systems & solutions.

• Have deep understanding of SGVN’s product / system offer (FGM).

• Have a basic understanding of fireproof, acoustic (FGM) and wet area applications.

• Continuously improve personal technical competence, including knowledge of product, application, installation methods, and onsite case studies.

2. Application Competency

• Understand and guide installation method comparison with competitors (direct and indirect), including market tips for each system.

• Support selling technical solutions that address pain points in the Vietnam retail market.

3. Technical Product & Solution Development

• Ensure internal teams (Marketing, Plant, Internal Tech) are fully equipped with product/application/installation information for Fiber Cement, Gypsum Board and Metal Frame.

• Conduct product & system testing and evaluation according to NPD projects.

• Develop and evaluate system/application installation methods.

• Monitor product specifications, changes in standards, and tests in collaboration with the Operation team.

• Evaluate and benchmark competitors’ solutions.

• Manage specifications of externally manufactured products to ensure complete system performance (outsourced products).

• Maintain awareness of market needs and competitor claims related to product/application.

4. Networking

• Work closely with both the Sales team and Product Developers to translate customer and Marketing insights into clear and appealing products or solutions.

• Build and maintain relationships with a wide network:

o Internal: Sales, Marketing, PQC, Technical

o External: Key third-parties, contractors, installers

1. Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Materials Engineering.

2. Experience

• 3–5 years of experience in product development and technical solutions for materials.

• Experience with gypsum board, ceiling, or drywall is an advantage.
