Transport & Capacity Assistant (6-Month contract)

Main purpose: The Capacity Assistant will be responsible for forming part of both the planning and execution teams responsible for transportation planning and operations. Within the team, the Capacity Assistant will perform execution-level service-provider relationship management, ad-hoc provider selection, loss recovery, and other transportation cost/service-based optimization activities for Nestle as they pertain to the selection and management of provider capacity. Key Outputs: - Execute transport strategies based on cost and service while ensuring carriers are assigned to move all planned loads with the most efficient cost. - Identify and escalate gaps in transport mode coverage with respect to factors like service, cost, and performance. - Undertake role of being operational point of contact for all supply DRP and delivery to HCM area. Measurements/Performance Indicators: - Truck Utilization KPI for supply DRP % contribution of transport modes DRP - Route Guide Compliance - Daily tasks

Key Experiences: What experience brings success to this job? - Bachelor Degree (or equivalent experience); with at least 1 year of experience in Supply Chain (pref. Customer Service, Logistics) - Intermediate English level - Demonstrated resilience to change - Systematic, good planning, prioritizing skills, deadline focus and attention to details - Able to handle very high level of stress and pressure - Able to make good quality presentations, influence others internally and/or change customers behavior
