- The Sales Team is responsible for quoting and delivering itineraries to our Customers.
- The Sales Team is responsible for all communication with our Customers.
- The Sales Team’s responsibility ends after the Customer has confirmed a quote and responsibility is handed over to the Reservations Team.
2. Responsibilities
- The Travel Advisor will join the Sales Team to suggest, quote, and confirm travel itineraries for both agents and customers that visit our Travel Center. You will work closely with the Reservations Team to ensure that our customers are prepared for their journey and that they receive the trip you designed for them.
- You will correspond with our agents and Travel Center customers face-to-face, by e-mail, and/or online chat to provide them with accurate and up-to-date travel information.
- You will understand our clients’ requirements and ask for clarification and additional detail when you feel it is necessary for you to build a better travel itinerary.
- You will develop a deep knowledge of the products and suppliers our company offers to help you build travel itineraries that match our agents’ requirements.
- You will create travel itineraries for our customers according to the information you receive from them and your knowledge of our destinations.
- You will suggest alternatives based on you and your team’s knowledge of the destinations and the experiences available.
- You will provide accurate and commercial quotations to accompany the travel itineraries you will provide to our customers.
- You will provide the Reservations Team with the necessary information to ensure that your confirmed bookings will translate into our booking systems.
- You will be the primary point of contact with the customer for any issues that occur after the booking has been confirmed and work with our internal teams to resolve any customer issues.
- You will track your conversion ratio and look for opportunities to improve your performance.
Yêu Cầu Công Việc
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Prior experience in tour operations preferred.
- Prior experience with Tourplan software preferred.
- Team-oriented attitude and attention to detail
