UI/UX Designer

JOB PROFILE SUMMARY

As a UI/UX designer on our team, you'll play a critical role in developing intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for our web and mobile applications.

Working closely with developers and product managers, you'll leverage your design skills to create user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups that communicate both functionality and aesthetic. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user needs and business goals, and conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions and ensure a seamless user experience. You'll also be responsible for developing and maintaining a consistent visual design language and style guide for the product, and staying up-to-date with the latest design trends and techniques to incorporate into your work.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• 3-5 years of experience with the similar role

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand user needs and business goals, and developing user flows and wireframes to support these objectives

• Creating high-fidelity mockups and prototypes that clearly communicate the functionality and aesthetic of the product

• Conducting user research and usability testing to validate design decisions and ensure a seamless user experience

• Developing and maintaining a consistent visual design language and style guide for the product

• Staying up-to-date with the latest design trends and techniques, and incorporating them into your work

• Ensuring that the final design is accessible and meets the needs of users with disabilities.

• Bachelors Information Technology preferred/ Graphic Design preferred/ Web Design preferred or Visual Communication preferred

• Familiarity with front-end development languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript preferred

• Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD required

• User experience (UX) design principles and user-centered design approach preferred

• Knowledge of current design trends and best practices required

• Knowledge of user research and testing methods preferred

• Equivalent combination of experience and education which clearly indicates the ability to perform the essential functions of the position may substitute on a year for year basis

• Strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and experience required

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams preferred

• English: Ability to understand written and spoken English at an advanced level

Junior Level:

• 3+ Years Experience leading the design of complex products and collaborating with cross-functional teams required

• 3+ Years Experience working in an agile development environment is a plus preferred

• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices preferred

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment required

• Excellent communication and presentation skills preferred
