Mô Tả Công Việc

Virtual Internships (“VI”) started in 2018 after recognizing that the future of work was at our doorstep, and more students across the world would need to prepare for remote work experience as well as create a network of virtual connections to succeed. VIs inaugural program was able to leverage the expertise of CRCC Asia, which at the time had 10+ years of experience cultivating host company networks and best practices for supporting interns. This served as a great framework for VI as it adapted its support for a virtual programming landscape. In summer 2020, VI supported over 1500 students in accessing remote internship experiences.
As a pioneer in remote-only internship programs, VI has been widely featured in the media along with receiving industry and business recognition. Over the past 18 months, VI has:
- Featured on the BBC, The Telegraph, The Independent, and Professionals in International Education
- Been identified by Global research firm HolonIQ as one of the key organisations in the 2021 Global Learning Landscape
- Won the prestigious virtual MassChallenge accelerator program

ROLE:
VI is embarking on an accelerated growth phase in 2020 & 2021. A significant part of the strategy involves building out a central global “hub office” in Ho Chi Minh City, where it’s senior leadership, operations, finance, digital marketing, and infrastructure teams are based.
As part of this growth phase, we have created a new role for a Vietnam HR Manager to oversee the recruitment, employee relations, and “culture-building” of the Vietnam office.

IDEAL CANDIDATE:
This opportunity is perfect for a HR Generalist who has experience working in a fast-paced start-up or a Recruiter who is looking to develop their career in HR.
As this is our first HR Manager, and we are growing fast, the ideal candidate must be adaptable and have a ‘can do’ attitude when taking on multiple tasks- these will vary from recruiting our next Marketing Manager, to resolving an internal employment issue, to organizing the next team-building activity.
Our company ethos sees every challenge as a “learning opportunity”

Handle employees' requests and understand how to best handle their complaints, concerns and questions in a diplomatic and reasonable way.
Mediating any issues between employees and manager(s)
Conducting Exit Interviews

Global HR Policy & Initiatives Development (20%)
Working with the COO to review and improve the Global HR Handbook - applicable for all staff worldwide
