Job Description

Reporting Relationships: Reporting to Head of Territory North and Regional Head.

The Role:
The Vehicle Aftermarket Sales Engineer is responsible for managing sales and must be highly motivated in developing relationships for the assigned customers. This person must understand the customer demands, plan how to meet these demands and generate sales as a result. This position involves collaborating with sales, engineering, manufacturing, and our customers from demand generation through product launch.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the complete Automotive Aftermarket business to achieve the organic growth objectives, including:
- Develop and expand the customer base for Automotive Aftermarket.
- Understand and analyze industry trends to develop new markets and sales strategies for SKF, including eyes on the competition.
- Lead monitoring commercial campaigns and marketing activities to increase sales.
- Formulating, managing, and monitoring parts pricing strategy across markets.
- Develop common business processes and commercial tools.
- Act as the company window person to make business deals with customers by engaging in all kinds of communication, coordination and consultation in products and service.
- Takes on total customer management, including sales forecast, supply planning, delivery, order handling and payment follow-up.
- Coordinate with Market Section to fulfill the efficient marketing activities.

Job Requirements

- Degree or Higher in Engineering, Business Management or equivalent.
- Automotive Aftermarket experience with 3-5 years or more in industry.
- English skill for business purpose.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Proven track record of sales growth in Distributor Management.
- Proven ability to deal with changes in a fast- paced business environment.
- Personal accountability to align with the SKF Employee Development & Leadership model.
- An inner drive to understand, communicate and exceed established agreed upon goals.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills with ability and willingness to communicate, and work with other regions.
- Proven ability to generate respect and trust from staff and external customers.
- Proven ability to focus and prioritize task and objectives.
