84 Partners (84P) serves as a bridge between opportunities in Vietnam and international investors. We provide strategic business consultancy services, advise on mergers & acquisitions, and support illiquid asset transactions with a focus on corporates, real estate, and startups. We are looking for an experienced and driven Vice President (VP) in Vietnam to report to our firm’s partners. The VP will be responsible for key workstreams for 84P including mandate letters, project management, information memorandums, and financial models. The VP will be supported by an associate, but also needs to be willing and eager to “roll up their sleeves” and work directly on documents, presentations, and spreadsheets. Responsibilities:
1. Prepare mandate letters (including scope of work, timelines, fees, and key terms) for potential projects based on clients’ requirements and feedback from 84P management
2. Serve as project leader for client engagements, including managing relationship with (and information provision from) client and overseeing 84P team to ensure that the project is completed on time and above the client’s expectations
3. Prepare in-depth information memorandums on investment opportunities with sections including macro & industry, company overview, growth strategy, operating metrics & financials, and details of proposed investment
4. Build detailed, accurate financial models with income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow projections as well as multiple methods of valuation
5. Advise clients on operational, strategic, and fundraising matters (including fundraising valuation, deal structure, recommended investor criteria, etc.)
6. Research and identify potential investors based on agreed upon criteria
7. Organize and manage investor data rooms, and prepare answers to investor questions
8. Advise clients on negotiating position and strategy for termsheets and definitive legal documents
9. Other tasks as required
Additional information:
* Base salary of VND 40-50m per month (depending on experience) plus bonus paid upon successful transactions (total annual bonus can potentially be 12+ months of base salary depending on individual and firm performance)
* We envision this to be a full-time role, although a part-time arrangement can be discussed for the right candidate

Yêu Cầu Công Việc
1. Fluent in Vietnamese and English
2. Bachelor’s degree from top university in Vietnam or abroad
3. 6+ years relevant work experience, including 3+ years working in corporate finance / investment banking
4. Ability to thrive in a remote-first, constantly changing startup environment
5. High attention to detail and outstanding quantitative, verbal, and communication skills
