Warehouse Assistant (for Thermal Power Plant in Ha Tinh)

POSITION SUMMARY

This job position provides administrative and technical support to the Warehouse by performing a variety of routine and specialized functions to manage all spare parts from each department.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Duties and responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following:

• Supports to manage spare parts, consumables & materials for overhaul and routine maintenance, and all items from each department.

• Receives and withdraws spare parts in the warehouse.

• Checks inventory following VAPCO procedures.

• Supports to update spare parts related information to the CMMS.

• Supports to monitor of stock quantity and reports to related department if shortage happens.

• Supports to create procurement requisitions via CMMS timely for inventory materials; and EAR for other materials

• Maintains clean condition of warehouse.

• Supports to create and revise procedures related to warehouse management.

• Maintains forklift as good condition.

• Any works related warehouse.

• Assists in several document controlling tasks, including: updating existing documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures; ensuring that all documents are properly labeled, versioned, and stored according to company standards; implementing and maintaining a system for archiving old documents; monitoring and ensuring adherence to document control procedures and policies.

• Supports other departments if necessary.

• Performs other comparable and related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor degree.

• Male. Experience working in power plants, refinery and heavy industry is an advantage. Interested in warehouse management and willing to perform a variety of duties within the warehouse and office.

• Detailed, hard-working and willing to learn new things. Able to work without detailed supervision.

• Available to work overtime.

• Possess business level communications skills in English (written and verbal) and be computer literate.
