Wood Structural Engineer - Night Shift

You want to be an important member of a strong team of other makers who take pride in their work and support each other. As a Wood Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for handling certain structural projects and collaborate directly with our US stakeholder.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

- Conduct the post-design steps including reviewing the Truss/ Beam Design and actively communicate with your partners and stakeholders to propose the solution for improvement or adjustment

- Provide engineering services related to Simpson Strong-Tie wood structures for customers mostly located in North America

- Perform additional tasks as per requests by the team leader

You will be trained about Simpson structure components and internal design software.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

If you can do everything listed above, you’ve got what it takes. Perhaps some of the following would be helpful too:

Degree in Civil Engineering or in other related majors

Less than 2 years of experience (We also welcome fresh graduates)

English skills: Fairly good command in English (Reading and Writing), or equivalent to TOEIC 550 Comprehend construction documents including architectural and engineering drawings

Strong knowledge of structures related to Construction Engineering

Be able to work independently as well as be a team-player

Ability to respect tight deadlines and work under pressure

Good organizational skill with sense of carefulness is highly required

Acquire windows-based computer skills (Word, Excel) and AutoCAD
