WORKSHOP MANAGER
A. Workshop Establishment & Operation
• Set up and manage the pump overhaul workshop (facility layout, equipment list, safety procedures, workflow system).
• Define and implement standard operating procedures (SOP) for pump inspection, dismantling, repair, assembly, testing, and documentation.
• Ensure workshop readiness to meet ITT’s 3-party service contract requirements with LSP.
B. Technical Leadership
• Lead the technical execution of pump maintenance (centrifugal pumps, rotary types, dosing/metering pumps).
• Diagnose pump failures, define repair scope, and supervise technicians during overhaul.
• Ensure quality control and compliance with OEM or approved equivalent specifications.
• Work directly with ITT engineers for knowledge transfer and with Prominent for service capability development.
C. Team Building & Competency Development
• Recruit, train, and supervise a team of pump technicians.
• Build a structured training roadmap (pump theory, troubleshooting, safety, ProCast equivalent part application, documentation).
• Foster a performance-driven and safety-oriented workshop culture.
D. Commercial & Customer Interface
• Support sales/account teams (Mr. Nghia & PEMS commercial team) with technical inputs, quotations, scope definition, and cost estimation.
• Communicate directly with LSP technical teams for job clarification, timeline, and service reporting.
• Ensure transparency in job cost, man-hour tracking, and consumables usage to support the 3-party contract model.
E. Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination
• Work with PEMS procurement to define required spares, common parts, and consumables for workshop readiness.
• Coordinate with ITT and ProCast for equivalent part specifications and quality verification.
• Ensure accurate inventory records and traceability.
F. Documentation & Reporting
• Prepare service reports, test results, NCRs, inspection photos, and quality documentation for every job.
• Maintain workshop KPIs: turnaround time, quality issues, rework rate, cost variance.
Yêu cầu công việc
Technical Background
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred) or relevant technical field.
• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in pump maintenance/overhaul, preferably within power plants, petrochemical plants, or industrial maintenance firms.
• Hands-on experience with centrifugal pumps is essential.
• Experience with dosing/metering pumps (Prominent or equivalent) is a strong advantage.
• Managerial & Commercial Competencies
• Proven experience managing a workshop or maintenance team.
• Strong understanding of cost estimation, job costing, planning, and resource allocation.
• Ability to balance technical quality with commercial considerations.
Soft Skills
• Strong communication skills in English and Vietnamese.
• Problem-solving mindset and a proactive attitude.
• Ability to work closely with both engineers and commercial teams.
• High integrity and sense of ownership.
