Revit Content Support Role

• The Role is to Repair and Quality Control Company’s Revit Content Library

• Away has a Revit Library which consists of around 5000 families (including nested families). In order to make the families more useful to project teams, the following tasks will need to be performed to make the Revit content more consistent:

• Deleting unwanted parameters

• Swapping superseded parameters for new parameters

• Purging unused lines styles

• Purging unused Subcategories

• Amalgamating Similar Categories

• Making sure line weights present consistently.

• Re-Testing the updated content

• Updating QA Parameters

The Role may also develop to include:

• Making new Revit content as required

• Developing new Scripts/Graphs to help maintain Revit content.

• Specific examples of these tasks are provided below.

• The Standard Revit Version for the Company Library is currently in Revit 2020 any Revit 2019 families can be upgraded to 2020, but do not upgrade beyond that. 1-2% of the Library may be in Revit 2022 or 2023, the Revit version of these families is to be maintained.

• If you need to add any new Shared Parameters to the Company Revit families do not proceed without written approval

• They will also be given access to Revit customizations, python scripts, and Dynamo graphs that can partially automate the tasks listed above.

- Bachelor's/master's degree in construction or related field.

- 3-5 years experience at this position.

- Have good knowledge about BIM and Architect.

- Good at Revit, Naviswork, BIM360.

- Good at Dynamo and Python script

- Good communication skills, able to work independently and in a team.

- Ability to manage time and work to deadlines.

- Proficient in both spoken and written English
