Manager - Research and Consulting

Assists in the preparation and production of project/client presentations and reports, as well as the quarterly Market Report.  Assists in the day-to-day operations of the department, including overseeing staff, recruiting, and tracking performance.  Coordinates projects regionally as well as nationally as required by the national research operations team.  Reviews and evaluates collected data results, makes appropriate recommendations.  Manages broker requests for data / research information  Manages and leads special projects as requested by senior management.  May prepare progress reports on the status of projects.  Accompanies sales professionals as needed on client presentations and pitches.  Other duties may be assigned.

 Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university and a minimum of 3 to 5 years of related experience.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.  Requires advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions. Conducts advanced financial analysis.  Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.  Ability to monitor and coordinate all types of projects with limited or indirect supervision  Ability to write reports, manuals speeches, and articles using distinctive style.
