Merchandiser cum Purchasing (Làm Việc Tại Vĩnh Long)

p• Coordinate/liaise with domestic and international company departments (Sales, Product Development, Design/sample making, QA) for purpose of new product development and existing product modifications.

• Coordinate/liaise with company departments (Purchasing, Product Development, QA) and vendors for purpose of sourcing materials for new product development as well as existing production.

• Develop and Maintain strong business relationships with vendors for product development, costing and production

• Seek new vendors/suppliers of fabrics, trims, hardware, value added services (i.e. embroidery, printing, molding etc…), accessories, production equipment, etc…

• Seek new processes/equipment to enable new product development and enhancement of production capacity/capability.

• Coordinate/liaise with domestic and international departments on product quotes. Ensure quotes are issued in a timely manner.

• Coordinate/liaise with domestic/international departments and vendors on samples (product, swatches, print, lab dips, etc…). Ensure timely submission of samples.

• Provide status updates and reports on product development, sourcing and costing activities./p

p'• Minimum 3-5 years in sewn soft goods Merchandiser or related position

• Strong knowledge and experience in sewn soft goods fabrics, hardware, trims etc.

o Knowledge of technical properties a plus.

o Knowledge and experience with international substance restriction requirements a plus.

o Experience with sustainable materials, technical textiles, molded polymers a plus.

• Experience working with vendors and suppliers in the soft goods industry

• Strong knowledge and experience in sewn soft goods design and costing

• Strong knowledge of sewn soft goods manufacturing methods, processes and techniques. Knowledge of advancing technologies (RF/US fastening, advanced cutting, sublimation printing, etc…) in the industry a plus./p
