'http://www.aes.com/home/default.aspx AES Mong Duong Power Company Limited (the “BOT Company”), Owner of Mong Duong 2 BOT Power Project (“MD2 Project”), is a limited liability company formed by the affiliates of The AES Corporation (USA), Posco Energy (Korea) and China Investment Corporation (China) with total investment of approximately $US 2.1 billion. Locating in Mong Duong, Cam Pha, Quang Ninh, Mong Duong II Coal Fired Power Plant with capacity of 1200 MW is now Commissioning till mid 2015. The MD2 Project is implemented under the Build – Operate – Transfer (“BOT”) scheme with the Ministry of Industry & Trade. The MD2 Project is forecasted to produce over 7.6 billion kWh of electricity annually and will be handed over to the Government of Vietnam after 25 years of operation.
