Job description

I - The Corporate Communications Department Planning for AEON Vietnam 1.1. Support the Corporate Communications Manager to build the Corporate Communications Strategies in Mid-term (3 years) and Short-term (next one year) realizing the 3 key missions driven by the 5 core approaches, which are: (i) Communications (ii) Relation (iii) Crisis Management (iv) Leader Voice Enhancement (v) Branding 1.2. Support the Corporate Communications Manager to manage team for proposing and implementing CC-related Policies, Standard of Procedure by analyzing risks, forecasts, etc. 1.3. Analyze any situations and risks of results and focusing future of CC activities in scientific way, to reason for directing and correcting strategies of CC from time to time. 1.4. Plan and inspecting the insight-driven stories, which will be disclosed to outside to achieve the goals of Corporate Communications, Corporate Brandings, Stakeholder Relations, in term of laws, regulations and topics of society, and then releasing 1.5. Any other matters ordered from the supervisor and/or company from time to time. II - The Corporate Communications Department's Project Execution 2.1. Communications: (a) Media Market Survey & Analytics: Collecting (and reporting to the supervisor and/or company as appropriate) any information including but not limited to, the markets’ trends, consumers’ trends, manufactures’ trends, products’ trends, finance trends, competitors’ trends and analyze to extract any matters affecting our brand and communications activities for corporate value to be improved. (b) Brand & Communications campaigns/ projects internally and externally: Planning, Coordinating and implementing the company-wide brand and communications projects to increase corporate brand value internally & externally. (c) Owned Media Communications: Corporate Website - Employer Brand Social Media - Print Assets 2.2. Relations: (a) Media Relations: Promoting and supervising public relations for government / government agencies, mass media, consumers, shareholders, employees, etc. Overseeing and negotiating works with the medias. Associating with all personnel (including board of management) for conducting interviews by any internal departments and/or requested by media and/or AEON CO., LTD. (b) Primary Contact and Proactive Communications: Collecting any PR activities conducted by AEON CO., LTD. and cooperate with the Corporate Communication Department of AEON CO., LTD., as the primary contact of our company. 2.3. Crisis Management: (a) Crisis Monitoring: detecting and reporting (to the supervisor and/or company as appropriate) any news sources (Paper news, Web news, SNS) relating to AEON and protect our corporate values from the aspect of communications by any appropriate means in case those news topics are unfavorable to AEON, or may negative impact on our corporate value. (b) Crisis Handling: investigating the matter (if unfavorable or negative impact on our corporate value has occurred) by ordering any related departments to admonish to correct the situation. (c) Crisis Management Procedure & Training 2.4. Leader Voice Enhancement through Brand Recognition 2.5. Brand Management (a) Supervision and Management of Tradenames and Trademarks; (b) Brand Identity & Guidelines (c) Brand Health Measurement III - Department's Operation Management 3.1. Budget Management Supporting to CC Manager for planning, budgeting and proposing by breaking down the duties into groups, making budgets (Yearly and Monthly) and clarifying ROI to the supervisor, for hiring employees and/or implementing any necessary assets to purchase and/or activities to be made for achieving the duties. 3.2. Supervising Staffs, Subordinates and Members Planning and maintaining all staff activities, jobs, duties and working schedules (including shift planning, in and out administrations, overtime, and business trip) in the department. Planning, educating and improving all staffs’ knowledges and techniques by evaluating performance through creating CDP, then promoting if any staffs are met to be knowledgeful enough, with good humanities and performance, to become superiorly. Reporting Duties: Establishing and maintaining an appropriate reporting line from all staffs in the department, and report to and/or seek consultation from the supervisor and/or any other departments if necessary. 3.3. Performance Dashboard Management Planning and supervising staffs to establish the yearly MBO and evaluating every half year. 3.4. Maintenance of Policies and Regulations Investigating, checking, auditing, creating, maintaining, keeping in effective and proposing any policies, regulations or rules related to the department duties, obligations and responsibilities; then upon approvals from the direct supervisors, installing, implementing, enforcing and amending any such policies, regulations or rules. Enforcing Company Policies, Rules and Regulations: Supervising all staffs in the department to enforce following AEON basic policies/ethics and complying laws and regulations suitable and sufficient enough as a business person by education. IV - Others 4.1. Understandings of Law and Regulations: - This department is specialized for CC matters, and it must understand sufficient enough about any laws and regulations regarding CC activities including but not limited to commercial code, penal code, copyrights and trademarks including licensing. 4.2. Others: Any other activities or matters related to the department or ordered from the supervisor and/or company from time to time.

Job requirements

1. Qualification and Job Requirements: - University degrees in 1 of following study fields: Communications, Marketing, Multi-Media, Business Administration, etc. - Minimum 5 years of experiences in 1 of following fields: Communications, Corporate Affairs, Public Relations, MKT, etc. - Experienced in Corporate Communications field is not required, but a plus point 2. Preferred skills - Project Management - Customer-oriented Mindset - Logical & Critical Thinking - Data-driven Strategic Planning - Problem Solving - Good Sense of Leadership - Adaptability - Oral & Written Communications - Interdepartmental Collaboration - Conceptual & Holistic Thinking - Fluent in English (spoken & written) - Digital Literacy: Social Media, Canva, etc.
